此間 Now Place 是一個位於舊金山華人社區中心的藝術書店、獨立出版平台與共創空間。在此間，他們將出版視為一種生活方式：我們寫詩、煮茶、印書、喝酒、做夢，也在一場場吃喝玩樂中，共同創作、共同記錄、共同存檔。
At Now Place, publishing is a way of living, not a product line. We write poems, brew tea, print books, drink cocktails, and dream together — turning moments of pleasure and play into collective creation and documentation.
這次飛地很高興邀請到來台北參加草率季的Now Place 主理人 Akaa，與我們進行分享。從此間的成立出發，談談在移民與離散的交叉點上，我們如何用小誌抵抗被定義，用空間連結彼此，用生活實踐出版的可能。
This talk begins with the birth of Now Place and explores how, at the intersections of diaspora and displacement, we use zines to resist flattening, space to foster kinship, and daily life to experiment with what publishing can be.
書店不只是賣書的地方，而是未完成的提案，一種生活的策展，一場未被馴化的實驗。
A bookshop, to us, is not a store. It’s a curatorial gesture, an unfinished proposal, an untrained vision in motion.
